During my punk years, everything felt like a Kodak
moment and that became my purpose. You would never see
me without my camera. I was constantly snapping photos
and after a while, no one seemed to notice and that was why I had so many candid shots. My picture-taking became
invisible. It wasn’t like today when everyone has a camera phone and selfies are the norm. Few people documented these times and that is what makes the photographs in this collection so precious. I never planned on publishing these snapshots, but there had to be a reason why they weren’t discarded. They’re something special and are my most treasured possessions. The pictures recall a time of innocence, when the streets were my playground and everything was new and full of possibilities.
