“…We went on the stage and while we are playing our
tune, Napalm, the dancers came out. They were dressed
in spandex with cutout sections and see-through plastic
pieces showing their skin in various sections; they used
temporary hair color and teased it up. Basically, he hired
a bunch of “posers”, and it was a direct insult. If you used Temporary dye, you were a poser; that’s it, either cut your hair and be with us or don’t and get beat up. They had long hair, too; a very big mistake. Punks and hippies mix as well as fire and gunpowder. Our L.A. punks responded by throwing bottles and records. They were flying over my head and hitting the dancers behind me. Needless to say, the dancers ran off the stage.
We played about two more songs and next thing I knew, the wall at the front of the room got kicked down and lit on fire…”
