Godzilla’s was run by punks for punks. It was not only about the music. It became something holy. Once closed, we were lost. It was as if someone had shut down our cathedral. This club gave us a place to worship – not only the punk music, but the culture. Here, we were a part of events that mattered, and it was sacred.
