Every night we went out it was as if we were dressing up for a costume party. Each garment was purposely selected, with creativity and ambition.
Punk in early days was not just a rebellion because we were misunderstood or couldn’t relate to society, or against a government we didn’t see fit. For most of us, it was about making our own choices, listening to music that sang to us and rang true, but also it was a freedom to express ourselves however we dared.
