L.A. Punk rocker At Book Soup October 30, 2015

L.A. Punk Rocker was the first punk ANTHOLOGY I published. back then, it was very difficult to find writers to contribute and I wasn’t confident that this was something I would be able to pull off. Old punks (like myself) are a fussy bunch and we are super passionate. There would be mistakes and I was certain the CRITICISM would be harsh. Still, (with prompting by my author pal Mark Barry from the U.K.) I went for it and I am so grateful for the push that he gave me. From this first book, flaws and all, I was able to meet up with friends from the past and make new ones with the same love of the scene, music and IDEOLOGY. What this has taught me… it’s better to crash and burn rather than let the MOMENT pass.

Thank you Mark Barry, Deborah Hernandez-Runions, Cindy Jimenez Mora, Steven E Metz, Mary Ann Bernal, and of course, Billy Idol.
